The Z780, similar to the earlier Z770, is a triband 3G and HSDPA-enabled handset that has a clamshell design and is loaded for web usage. Considering the handset is only 11.8mm wide, it is a conundrum as to how so much advanced mobile phone technology is condensed within such a compact device. Motorola AURA
Motorola has broken new ground in the mobile phone fashion stakes with its latest handset - the uniquely designed AURA. While the phones’ specs - which include a 2MP camera, H.264 video capture, 2GB on board memory, hands-free Bluetooth connectivity and an open source browser - don’t exactly set it apart from the pack, the craftsmanship, classic styling and high-end materials that have been utilized to create it certainly do. The immediately recognizable highlight is the circular liquid-crystal display, an industry first innovation inspired by luxury watch design that incorporates 16 million colors and 300 dpi resolution protected by a highly scratch-resistant 62-carat sapphire crystal lens. We’re not sure how practical this would be in terms of usability, but it certainly oozes elegance.
A great deal of engineering has gone into making sure you can open the phone - its drive-assisted rotating blade mechanism, relies on a 200 piece Swiss-made main bearing and Rockwell 50-55 hardened steel gears (which use the same tungsten carbide coating as high-performance racing engines) to deliver seamless access to the keypad.

Mocambique Celular S.A.R.L (mcel) – Eco Naturalmente (Naturally Thinking Green)

Mcel began exploring environmentally resp
onsible ways of conducting its business long before CO2 regulations were even considered in Africa. "Eco Naturalmente" (Naturally Thinking Green) was introduced in early 2007 with the objective of reducing CO2 emissions from the boardroom to the BTS. To date, by the introduction of 100% Solar Hybrid powered GSM sites, annual CO2 emissions are reduced by over 5,000 tons, with 7,000 tons targeted by the end of 2010.
Replacing conventional diesel powered sites has not only resulted in Mcel being able to offer connectivity in remote locations outside the electricity grid, OPEX savings of USD 405,000.00 per annum at current oil prices; a CAPEX payback of around 12 months per site, have been achieved.

VNL

VNL – VNL’s solar-powered GSM base station

VNL’s WorldGSM is a zero-opex solar-powered GSM system specifically designed to enable operators to build commercial networks in remote rural areas where ARPUs are < $2 a month.
For years operators have struggled with the same problem: Traditional GSM equipment was not designed for emerging markets. It costs too much to buy and maintain, uses too much power and is difficult to deploy (especially in areas with no electricity, poor roads and no engineers).
VNL has re-engineered GSM to overcome these challenges. Finally operators have a way to provide services for the three billion people who are not covered by a mobile network.

The GSMA Global Mobile Awards is the premier international showcase of product, service and creative excellence for the mobile industry; awards include a wide range of categories that are relevant for players of all sizes in the mobile value chain. In 2009, Innovation took center stage at the Global Mobile Awards as CooTek won the "Cup".
As a category of the Global Mobile Awards, we introduced the Mobile Innovation 'Grand Prix' for promising entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized companies developing and introducing innovative products and services.
The Mobile Innovation Grand Prix category differs from other Global Mobile Award categories in that it's a year-round process with several stages of judging through the year, including physical presentations at associated events and industry partner awards winners as well. During each regional event, two overall winners have won a trip to Barcelona to compete as a Finalist for the Mobile Innovation Grand Prix Cup which took place yesterday afternoon in front of the judges and a global audience. We look to the industry experts and pull from a broad array of sources; such as Operators, Venture Capital firms, Industry suppliers, etc.. In addition, we have worked closely with RIM and Qualcomm Ventures, and have fed their innovation award winners into our Global Finalists.
And here is what the judges had to say, "Against a broad spectrum of Global Finalists, this year's winner for the Mobile Innovation Grand Prix illustrated innovation, creativity and global impact. Our industry faces enormous pressures to deliver smarter and more cost effective networks. Smart antennas are a tough course to follow, and our winner has been pursuing their journey with what appears to be great benefits, resilience, and technical innovation. It was a tough decision for the judging panel, but our winner demonstrated great potential to advance our core business and we are proud to announce Ubidyne as this year's stand out GSMA Innovation winner."

iPhone 4 vs. HTC Evo 4G

Posted by Mobile Buzz Thursday, August 26, 2010 0 comments

Apple’s new iPhone 4 is the company’s biggest update yet for the handset and it will have you drooling.
The phone is a snazzily slim, glass-backed slab that boasts some impressive specs: dual cameras, a big operating system update and video chat, among other things.
Apple introduced the phone at its developer conference Monday and said it will be available on AT&T’s network starting June 24.
But when the iPhone 4 hits retail shelves it will have to battle a gaggle of Android devices for consumer attention — the most significant of which is the HTC Evo. The Evo has one big advantage that Apple can’t beat. It runs on Sprint’s 4G network, while the iPhone is stuck on AT&T’s 3G service. Sprint 4G, though, is not available in most major cities, including San Francisco and New York.
If you are considering upgrading to the latest version of the iPhone or getting an Android device, take a look at how the iPhone 4 and HTC Evo 4G compare:

Next gen iPad Cortex A9 processor

Folks at DigiTimes had recently come up with some juicy rumors regarding the next generation iPad. In their latest report, the Taiwanese publication had claimed that Apple will be launching an upgraded version of their 9.7-inch iPad by the first quarter of 2011 that will deploy a powerful ARM Cortex-A9 processor.
The report had also backed claims made by iLounge earlier this month about Apple's plans to launch a smaller 7-inch iPad with a similar processor configuration.

Fake iPhone: Gizmodo
Earlier today Gizmodo made a post titled “This is Apple’s Next iPhone”. You can see a photo of it above this text. They claim that the iPhone they have was found in a bar in Redwood City. To make matters worse, they are just assuming that this really is a prototype based on the fact that they saw multiple components in the iPhone that were labeled Apple. Sorry to rain on your parade Gizmodo, but your iPhone is a fake. That explains why it doesn’t boot up, and why you can’t connect it to iTunes and download even the beta version of iPhone OS 4.0 software to it. Someone most likely took out the components from the current iPhone, placed them in a fake Chinese iPhone clone and sent it to you. I just contacted one of my sources who has had actual hands on experience with a prototype of the new iPhone, and he has confirmed that this prototype is nowhere close to what the real iPhone 4G looks like and it’s a FAKE. I’m talking to my source again right now and am trying to get more information out of him, but I may not be able to reveal much as his career is at stake here. Stay tuned!

it is highly expected that Apple (Steve Jobs) will make the announcement for the iPhone 4G at the WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) 2010 on June 7th in San Francisco.  The Internet is already buzzing around the iPhone 4G, and the Gizmodo leak last month really contributed to the excitement and conversation around the iPhone 4G.
But is the iPhone 4G really all that?
I’m of the opinion that no, the iPhone 4G is not going to live up to the hype and excitement that is building.  Sure, it’s going to be cool to have a new iPhone. I know I was excited when I upgraded from my first generation iPhone to the iPhone 3GS. But with the iPhone 4G coming out, the majority of the excitement around the product has already taken place with the first gen iPhone, the iPhone 3G, and the iPhone 3GS.
The iPhone 4G is, quite simply, an upgraded OS with a video conferencing.

Apple and AT&T contract will going to be ended in the end of this year 2010. There are speculations about the arrival of Apple iPhone on the Verizon Network. Both Apple phones  and Verizon  network companies have not given any official statement about release date.   Arrival of the Apple iPhone with the collaboration of one of the biggest cell phone operators Verizon network in U.S will cut down the price of the Verizon iPhone mobile for U.S. Consumer.  There will be very high competition between the top network and cell phone companies, Verizon and AT&T, both mobile companies will slice down the prices of their plans.   Verizon and AT&T are the two top largest network service competitors, competing together on network services and speed respectively.

Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile are the other two network service provider companies with low prices as compare to other two top service provider cell phone companies in U.S.  In addition to Verizon, if Sprint and T-Mobile start selling the iPhone 4G to the U.S customers then it will bring all the companies face to face in selling iPhone competition. it will lead to price war among them and it is expected that all the companies will lower down their services chargers as well as price of Apple iPhone 4G to the customers.  It means that there will be unavoidable price war will start among iPhone selling companies in U.S market.  One can evaluate the prize war situation after seeing the competition between Sprint and T-Mobile that they are offering different plans for the U.S Users with just 69 dollars per month. Offering free cell calls on any cell phone network in US, unlimited text messages, data transfer services and free voice call minutes for landlines calls.

The iPhone 4G is a success model. Despite of the problems, the new iPhone 4G sales are increasing. The processor of the iPhone 4G is the same processor that the IPAD has, the A4. Powerful processor brand of home runs at 1GHz frequency (the 3G 600MHz) on the new iPhone 4G. The iPhone 4G processor has the higher range that exists in the market. This allows you to have a greater overall performance and more autonomy for your iPhone 4G. The iPhone 4 will feature a 5 megapixel camera with a backside-illuminated sensor, which Jobs says increases the amount of light captured by the sensor, resulting in better photographs, particularly in low-light situations. The camera will also record HD video at 720p resolution and 30 frames per second, and the LED flash can be used to light video as well. Like the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 4 will feature in-phone video editing and enable users to share video the the Internet (think Facebook and YouTube). However, Apple is pushing the video editing envelope with a new iMovie application for iPhone, that enables users to assemble and trim clips and record directly into an iMovie timeline. Users can also add camera photos to their movies (complete with the pan-and-scan Ken Burns effect), and iMovie for iPhone will enable users to add titles and transitions to their videos. The iPhone 4 camera embeds geolocation information in video; iMovie for iPhone can optional display display that information. Users can also add music as a soundtrack to their video, and select from a number of pre-generated themes. iMovie for iPhone will be available as a separate purchase from the App Store for $4.99.

And it’s all contained in a beautiful enclosure a mere 9.3 millimeters thin, making iPhone 4 the world’s thinnest smartphone.
